My stay at Hotel Speranza had its ups and downs. While the breakfast room and food were excellent, and the garden along with the pool area were beautiful, I was quite let down by the room I was given. Additionally, the air conditioning in the room didn’t work effectively, which made it uncomfortable. Overall, I appreciated the friendly staff and lovely common areas, but the room was disappointing enough that I wouldn’t want to stay here again unless I could ensure a different room.

It’s conveniently located within walking distance of the ferry and surrounded by plenty of good restaurants and bars. I particularly loved the beautiful pool area and the exceptional breakfast offerings, although I found my room quite small and it faced the noisy street, which might be an issue for some. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and I would definitely go back but will request a room away from the street next time.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Speranza! The charm of this family-run hotel, combined with its fantastic outdoor pool and beautiful garden area, made our experience unforgettable. However, it would be great if there were more lounge chairs around the pool.
