My stay at Hotel Speranza had its ups and downs. While the breakfast room and food were excellent, and the garden along with the pool area were beautiful, I was quite let down by the room I was given. Additionally, the air conditioning in the room didn’t work effectively, which made it uncomfortable. Overall, I appreciated the friendly staff and lovely common areas, but the room was disappointing enough that I wouldn’t want to stay here again unless I could ensure a different room.

The sense of hospitality is palpable, with managers Guilla and her father ensuring every guest feels special. The breakfast is second to none, featuring a variety of tasty options. The pool area is serene and well-kept, making it a lovely spot to relax. However, noise levels from the bars nearby can be a bit bothersome if you choose a room at the front.
The hotel is a charming family-run place that truly excels in friendliness and service. It’s conveniently located within walking distance of the ferry and surrounded by plenty of good restaurants and bars. I particularly loved the beautiful pool area and the exceptional breakfast offerings, although I found my room quite small and it faced the noisy street, which might be an issue for some. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and I would definitely go back but will request a room away from the street next time.
I had a mixed experience at Hotel Speranza. The location is great and the breakfast was impressive, but my room left much to be desired with its small size and outdated air conditioning. The pool and gardens were a lovely surprise, but the room condition and lift situation were disappointing, making me hesitant to return.
We had an amazing stay at Hotel Speranza! The charm of this family-run hotel, combined with its fantastic outdoor pool and beautiful garden area, made our experience unforgettable. The staff treated us like family, offering incredible service and assistance whenever needed. Plus, the breakfast spread was delicious! However, it would be great if there were more lounge chairs around the pool.
